The EMRTC web-site complies with XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS1 standards and is compatible with the accessibility requirements of Section 508 and the W3C’s Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
EMRTC uses web standards and follows WAI guidelines to help ensure our web-site is accessible to users of all technologies. An accessible Web site is one whose page content can be accessed by traditional (browsers) and non-traditional (handheld devices) user agents, as well as by the range of assistive technologies used by people with visual, hearing, mobility, and cognitive impairments.
At EMRTC, we know that designing an accessible web-site can mean the difference between allowing and denying access for individuals whose World Wide Web and Internet use differs from our own. By using web standards and following accessibility guidelines, EMRTC’s web-site can accommodate different user conditions and provide equivalent interactive experiences for years to come.
Although EMRTC is committed to accessibility and web standards and has tested its web-site using various online web page validators, some users may not be able to access all of the EMRTC web-site content. If you have difficulty accessing any information on our web-site, please contact the EMRTC webmaster at webmaster@emrtc.nmt.edu.
