Sled Track Test Facility

The Sled Track Test Facility uses a 300 meter (1000 foot) monorail system to conduct dynamic testing of warheads, penetrators, and shaped charges. The Sled Track vehicles can achieve velocities up to 550 m/s (1800 ft/s). The Sled Track Test Facility provides a dynamic means for achieving precision impact control for target penetration studies, for developing hard target penetrators, and for conducting proof of concept testing.
