Directions to EMRTC

Below you will find directions on how to reach the EMRTC complex in Socorro, New Mexico. When you arrive, please report to the Visitor Control Station located just inside the EMRTC building. From Albuquerque International Airport directly to EMRTC

1. Follow the Sunport Blvd. exit lane from the Albuquerque International Airport directly to Interstate 25.
2. Drive south on I-25 for 75 miles.
3. Take exit 152, the Escondida exit. Turn right at the stop sign. The road will take you over a bridge and through security gates that are open from 6 AM to 10 PM. This road leads directly to the EMRTC Complex.

From Albuquerque International Airport through the town of Socorro to EMRTC

1. Follow the Sunport Blvd. exit lane from the Albuquerque International Airport directly to Interstate 25.
2. Drive south on I-25 for 77 miles.
3. Take exit 150, the first Socorro exit. This exit puts you on California St. Most of Socorro's motels, restaurants and gas stations are located along this street.
4. Drive south on California St.
5. Turn right (west) on Bullock Blvd. Between a Little Caesars and a Domino's.
6. Pass through two intersections with four-way stop signs (El Camino Real and Leroy Place) before entering the New Mexico Tech campus.
7. Stay on Bullock Blvd. which curves to the left and becomes Olive Lane.
8. Turn right(west) onto Canyon Rd. located at a four-way stop sign. Drive past the golf course up and over a hill and then back down past the New Mexico Tech Physical Plant.
9. At the bottom of the hill turn right. Drive north for about a half-mile toward the EMRTC Complex that will be visible to your left.

From El Paso International Airport through the town of Socorro to EMRTC

1. After leaving El Paso International Airport, follow the signs to Interstate 10.
2. Drive west on I-10 toward Las Cruces, NM, until you see signs for I-25.
3. Drive north on I-25 toward Socorro and Albuquerque for approximately 147 miles.
4. Take exit 147, the first Socorro exit coming from the south. This exit puts you on California St. Most of Socorro's motels, restaurants and gas stations are located along this street.
5. Drive north on California St.
6. Turn left (west) on Bullock Blvd. Between a Little Caesars and a Domino's.
